Check you brace height and ensure it's in the correct spot. Remove the string from your bow, ensuring no twist come out. Hook one loop on a nail in a tree, stud, or fence post. Then pull taut, measure from the shank of the nail to the inside of the loop in your pulling hand. This is the measurement I will need.

Short answer yes color does matter, typically your fluorescent colored materials will add to the overall finished diameter of a bowstring. A solid fluorescent colored string will be dramatically bigger ( up to .010" difference)  when compaired to a 2-5 color string that does not contain fluorescent colors. Reason behind this is the amount of coating differs for fluorescent colors due to the amount of coating required to get the right shade of color. Lighter/natural color(s) require less coatings, while darker and a fluorescent require more. 

Follow your manufacturers warranty booklet/advise from the bowyer. We are not responsible for you not listening to the people that make the bows or taking I'll advise from a outside, untrusted source. You are at your own risk. 

If your bow can use fastflight, I would recommend mercury 2. However IF the manufacturer DOES NOT want consumers using m2 I would recommend using 8125 instead. 

It all comes down to personal preference.

 If you want something fluffy, light weight, waterproof, and nonsheding. Dyneema puffs are the silencer for you. Good for dampening high frequency sounds. 

If your not worried about weight, catwhiskers are also a great option. Good for dampening low frequency sounds and shock absorption. 

If you order a string and wish to cancel your order, IF your string has NOT BEEN CUT, you will receive a refund MINUS PROCESSING FEES.

IF the string HAS BEEN CUT, your order will NOT be canceled, and will be completed as normal. This is a CUSTOM item that is extremely hard to hopefully   resell to someone else.

IF YOU ORDER YOUR STRING AT THE INCORRECT SIZE/LENGTH, WE WILL GLADLY REMAKE YOUR STRING AT FULL PRICE.
